1️⃣ Unboxing Your Trezor

When you receive your Trezor wallet, ensure that the packaging is sealed and untampered. Your Trezor device comes with:

2️⃣ Visit trezor.io/start

Open your preferred browser and go to https://trezor.io/start 🌐. This is the official starting point for all Trezor devices.

3️⃣ Connect Your Device

Use the USB cable provided to connect your Trezor device to your computer. Depending on your model (Trezor Model T or Trezor One), the next steps might vary slightly.

Once connected, follow the on-screen instructions. You may be prompted to install:

• 🧩 Trezor Bridge (for communication between your browser and device)
• 🖥️ Trezor Suite (recommended for managing your crypto portfolio)

4️⃣ Install Firmware

When you power up the Trezor for the first time, it will prompt you to install the latest firmware. Trezor devices ship without firmware for maximum security.

For advanced users, enabling a passphrase adds an extra layer of security. It acts as a 25th word added to your recovery seed.

🔁 Backup & Maintenance

After setup, do regular device checks. Keep your firmware up to date, and periodically verify your recovery seed using the Trezor Suite “Check Recovery Seed” tool.
